MOOSTE FOLK MUSIC CLUB
The musicians club at the Mooste Folk Music School unites music enthusiasts of different ages living in the South-Eastern region of Estonia, who like to play folk music together regularly once a week. We learn traditional instrumental pieces mostly by ear and we don't arrange our music at all. Each musician adds some nuances of playing technique, and together it sounds like a nice traditional folk music jam. Krista Sildoja, a music teacher and ethnomusicologist, has been running the musicians club since its first day (we started in 2012).
