Ensembel AMMUKER from Sõrve
Ensembel Ammuker from Sõrve unites women interested in the heritage of Sõrvemaa and Saaremaa. There are also children and young girls singing with mothers and grannies. The group gathered in 2011 for the first time.
Besides singing runic songs and speaking of the local dialect, we also attend to country women's traditional lifestyle and handicrafts. We are attracted to nursery-style songs and games, some of us play instruments, and some like to dance. On festive occasions, we wear our traditional handmade costumes. We are always happy to share our knowledge with others. At Baltica Festival some our husbands will also join us with singing – our support in everyday life and during party time.
